That sounds a lot like a scripture but Matthew 6:21/Luke 12:34 actually state "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also". Think about it and you understand that the reverse is also true. If you want to evaluate where one's heart is, check where they put their treasure - a moment of silence for all the lovers on Valentine's day! :)
Now, do a self-check and evaluate where your own heart is. Where do you put your treasure? In clothes, shoes, weave, food, education, business, charity? It follows that if you put your treasure in something, you tend to have a heart for that thing. You enjoy it, you desire it to succeed, you protect it. Put more treasure into what you value and you'll find your heart attachment growing stronger.
Another way of looking at this is considering the idea of "Following your heart" to find that thing which will give you success. If you can do something that you truly love - something where your heart is - you will find that treasure flows freely to you as you lovingly engage in that thing. So, what do you love? You love singing, baking, teaching, giving tours... You will find prosperity flowing to you in activity that feels like joy not work as you put your heart into it.
